Hotels Near The Barefoot Forge

There’s a few hotels around, and I haven’t personally stayed at any of them- but I’ve heard a few better things about the Fairfield Inn.
I am not directly associated with either, so I don’t have any deals or promos to offer.

Since we work long days usually, you don’t need to have too nice of a hotel. With that said, trying to find a place in the north hills for sure makes life alot easier.

Quality Inn and Suites North

5137 William Flinn Hwy, Gibsonia PA 15044

This two star accommodation has really cheap room thats as close as it gets to the shop- it’s technically a “motel” in that the doors open to the outside of the building. Located close to “Sheetz” which has great breakfast sandwiches and Coffee, as well as a Dunkin Donuts (which always has a long line)- this is a simple place to stay, right off the turnpike.

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh North/McCandless Crossing

901 Providence Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15237

This two star hotel is a slightly nicer room, within a 15min or so drive of the shop (or uber, we have a great network of available ubers in and around our city) and is on a main road “mall district” type area, with restaurants and shopping nearby and a direct route into the city.
I’ve had customers stay here and be happy. There’s a few places around here that have breakfast and coffee as well.

12 minute drive

Downtown

There are several great hotels downtown! They’re all going to be around 25-30 minutes away from the shop, and driving in the city is a bit intimidating- but you’ve got this!
If you’re coming to Pittsburgh for a few days of vacation and touristy things, staying downtown is nice. It’ll make the trip north to the forge the longest and most inconvenient drive you make (and still it’s only like 30 minutes) and then you’ll be nice and centrally located for Pittsburgh touristy things!
Pittsburgh is a really great city to walk around, and we’ve got a great uber network- so even a few of the things that i’d suggest checking out that are say a mile away from your hotel, it’s easy to just jump in an uber for a few bucks and magically arrive at your destination.
